Summary of Position:

Act as the Regional IT Asset Manager in his or her absence.

Work with the Regional IT Asset Manager to ensure IT Asset (property) management is in compliance with Northrop Grumman standards, directive and guidelines; which consists of data and inventory accuracy, total cost of ownership accuracy and life cycle management. Conduct ongoing (spot) audits of both network connected and network detached IT Assets. Audits consist of physical inspection, electronic or paper based audit trail integrity, and process compliance.

Mitigate future exceptions by documenting new processes and or improving existing processes. Coordinate with agency level personnel to stage preliminary project meetings for implementation of Altiris agent and software.

Coordinate with Regional Service Directors, Service Level Directors, and Local Area Coordinators about the use, scheduling, and compliance with the new Asset Management System. Assist is migration of existing Asset Management System into the Altiris database.

Conduct annual needs based survey for continued access to the existing IT Asset Management System.
