ISS Proventia Specialist

* Configure, operate/run, and maintain host intrusion detection/prevention system (HIDS/HIPS) - ISS Proventia
* Resolve HIDS/HIPS configuration issues on desktops; create and distribute new policies
* Create, test, and implement HIDS/HIPS configuration for servers
* Respond to customer location (typically Richmond area) to resolve HIDS/HIPS issues
* Review HIDS alerts daily looking for proactive tuning opportunities
* Review agent status and work with tech support to remediate those that are not functioning properly

• 1-2 years of experience with ISS Proventia desktop/server
• Database administration experience a plus
